How much is it for a timing belt and water pump

I need a new timing belt and water pump replaced on my wife's car it is over 100,000 miles on it and how much is it with labor?

depends on the make and model of the vehicle...fwiw, this is one of those times when it is better to have a larger domestic vehicle...

I was quoted 600 on an 02 acura from a mechanic shop. 1100 from the dealer.
Im at 147k now and haven't replaced yet. Should probably get on that.

Does it have a belt or a chain? If chain then you are very lucky because they don't need replacing.
