I am searching for a WWII book to read. Can be on any facet of the war. I have already read Unbroken. I know I can look on Amazon reviews but they just show the same books over and over. What do you got?

I would say band of brothers... but the series is better. Just about the only instance where film is better than the book

I was just discussing if in another thread but if you want to learn about an aspect of the war thats never really been covered much in the west, look at "Berlin Dance of Death".

"Hellstorm", by Thomas Goodrich, it will give you a perspective rarely even touched.

Of Wine and War. This book is the story of the efforts the great winehouses took to hide their wines from the Nazis.

A really good read that may not be exactly what you are looking for but is good none the less.

In the '60s there was actually a novel about this

It was made into a movie with Anthony Quinn

Do not rely on mass media to get the real picture of ww2, read as many books from every side as you possible can.

Movies are some of the worst sources when it comes to objectivity.

Tonight We Die As Men. Really good book, and endorsed by Col. Ed Shames, one of the Band of Brothers (who, consequently, said that BoB is a bunch of bs).

I have read tons of books on the subject. This book LINK was probably the best I've read.

It's just one soldiers perspective on the war. It's a personal account of the war and its ongoing cost to a veteran. It was very powerful.
