Why would he decommit from Bama if that's where he planned on going all along?

with all their commitments he may lose his spot. How can BAMA have that many commitments and still going after prospects without telling some that they are going after bigger fish?

No clue. Hootie did the same thing last year with Bama, then Guice and Lewis to us this year.

Well Hootie Jones did the same thing. Never underestimate Saban's gamesmanship.

He's going to Bama and both staffs already know it. He's just waiting until signing day to announce/sign.

His spot at Bama is safe. They have the numbers as he was always counted in to their numbers. They have at least 2 spots open right now and could be more depending on Prince(the OT not DE). At some point people have to stop questioning Bama when it comes to numbers. Every year its the same thing but every year they make the numbers work. Even bad publicity has no effect on them so no need complaining or worrying about their numbers anymore. They have as many as they need. Hell they turn down a bunch of kids every year. Not just low star kids either. They turn down kids wed love to have right now. Its insane

And yet we put as many, or more, kids in the NFL. Go figure. Do we do a better job evaluating, or do we do a better job coaching them up?????? Has to be one or the other right?

Alabama just told Chidi that they were too full for him, what are they going to tell Charlot? I think Charlot ends up a tiger.

Bama.

Not a position of need anyway.

Dillon will probably flip. LOADED at WR.

Charlot wouldn't see the field extensively for 3 years here Imo. Too deep. Kid is a helluva player though

I haven't seen enough of Charlot as a WRer to say he is special but he looked darn good returning punts in that allstar game (1 TD and tripped or he would have had another one). To be fair, I'm pretty sure those allstars on the coverage team weren't exactly "special team specialists".

Still think LSU gets Dillon or Charlot...my money figuratively (no payoff) is on Dillon.

Too much young talent at LSU to compete with.

LSU is stacked at WR. I know we're biased, but! Dural, Dupree,Diarse,Quinn.........Tyrone Johnson, Jazz Ferguson,........maybe Dillion! Charlot would be icing on the cake

I think he'd see the field a good amount. I think he would be AT LEAST our 4th best WR by his sophomore year in 2016 (assuming Dural goes pro after the 2015 season, which I am). Dupre and Tyron Johnson will likely be our 2 best receivers in 2016. Who's #3 in 2016? Trey Quinn? John Diarse? Personally, I think Charlot looks like he has more upside than Quinn. Charlot's hands look superior to me for starters. I don't have measurements, but I would bet that Charlot has a far greater wingspan than Quinn. He knows how to use his length too - he has the body control and athleticism to make plays in the air. Charlot looks a little more slippery after the catch too. Not just juking defenders either. Defenders seem to slide off him. He seems adept at avoiding the first hit. As far as Diarse goes, I think he could be very valuable if we used him properly (the dude is a physical presence). Having said that, I think Charlot in the long run is just a much better wide receiver prospect. Also special teams.
