Is *truth* now off limits too? Goddamn bastard said the truth: Without being an athlete you have no shot. Well, duh. I don't get why they acted so butthurt.

1/ Not a great student...
2/ Going to a school with pretty high standards
3/ Recruiter points this fact out
4/ Full retard response ensues

Man. frick this stupid world. Kids used to respond to that with a pragmatic/realistic vibe like: "Damn, you know what, he's right!. I'm not a genius or a great student and because I'm an athlete I get the opportunity to get a great education at a really good school. Good for me! Thank you God :-)"

Now it's a butthurt mess because the facts make him feel sad.

Seriously, God save us all.

247 rates Mattison as 456th nationally and 89th in the B1G.

Well if he would have gotten that recruit he would have surely gotten into the top 450. Then the sky is the limit.

Life is one big fricking kabuki dance. The coaches have to fake like they or the school would have any interest in the kid whatsoever without football when EVERYBODY involved knows that isn't true.

How many situations are there where you know what you are doing is bullshite, the person you are impressing with it knows it is bullshite, and everybody is totally constrained from saying "This is all so much bullshite"?

Sometimes captain obvious shouldn't be so obvious.

Tell me...what is the upside to that comment? There is none.

It's ridiculous to be angry about that. Yet another idiot looking for a reason to be disrespected or offended.

So could the kid get in without football, or is his dad just a stupid fuxking a-hole?

well this must make Nebraska feel nice. "Eh I was about to flip my commit to y'all...but they made me feel bad, so I guess I'll stick with you now."

No idea why Greg said that. You are recruiting a football player.

Most of the football players are just dumb. My friend tutored a player in Michigan. Just no hope to make him understand the math. But who cares? That dumb arse was drafted by Red Skin and made more money.

Are we really going to sit here and compare a fricking general studies or general business degree between Nebraska and Michigan?
