Bout half way through S1 and where's the love for this show?? It's a great comedy in the same vein with Parks and Rec/Community (so far atleast)
I brushed this show off when it first came out because the previews looked like shite, man was I wrong. The terry crews curse is dead.
The dynamic with the police chief makes the whole show.

I've tried to like this show several times as my wife loves it, but it just doesn't do it for me
everything just feels so forced

It took me until season 2 to realize the Chief was my favorite character. I really like this show. As far as current comedies, it's in the top 3 for me right now.

The only forced part to me is Boyle at times
The rest of it just flows great to me. They didn't even have an awkward starting point like most shows

it's a well liked comedy that isn't talked a lot about on this forum, but there are a good bit of us who like it.
It's the comedy version of Person of Interest in that regard.

Well if this is the way you guys are describing it, then that's the reason I wasn't watching

Finding good network comedy is like finding treasure
I'll let you underlings scrounge through the shite to find it and then I'll reap the rewards as your king

it isn't, I just came up with that on the fly - seriously, BNN is a great comedy in the same vein that PoI is an amazing Drama, but neither are talked about on the Movie / TV Board - it's very odd.

this feels like one of those shows that I will binge watch in about 4 or 5 years when it's on Netflix.

It's like 4 monotone dudes walking briskly to the next computer screen with cbs dramatic music behind it and I lot of curious looks into the camera

how many episodes did you watch? I will say, just like all Bad Robot shows, I didn't start watching PoI until like episode 12-13 of season one, and then went back and watched the rest, but by episode 12-13, the style of the show just completely grabs you

I've seen bits and pieces of the first season and wasn't a fan. I just like trolling fear like that
