Im not to familiar with Cricket, so no, but that's pretty cool.
I do know that the scores are high so maybe that means its actually a better sport than baseball too. Because we all know Americans hate low scoring sports because they are boring.

Which goes back to my argument that no it doesn't, the sport is just as violent and the rules have nothing to do with it. I don't see how a sport with a bunch of metro's running around flopping is more American.
