First it's not Miles' job to develop QBs, he hires people to do that for him. Looking back over the coaches on staff that he's hired to develop QBs, none have been on staff longer than 2-3 years in that capacity. That's not even long enough for a recruit to fill out his eligibility.

Second of all, the idea that unless he has a weak running game, he won't have an effective QB - and that a weak running game would force Miles' staff to develop a QB any better than they already have is beyond stupid.

Men are paid a salary to do a job. If they do their jobs well, they get to keep their job, and maybe even get raises, if they don't, they get shitcanned. That's called incentive. It's how the American Way works. To date, Miles' has been unable to find a coach who can effectively develop QBs.

Whether or not the team is able to run the ball on game days has nothing to do with the staffs inability to develop a QB.
