This will be my last basketball season living in Beaumont...

Should be full time in BR around April.

What a terrible comeback. Of course I have. We shot a ton of 3s in years past, including the beginning of this year.

My comment is accurate. You tried to say that we still do shoot a ton of 3s, and in the last two games, we haven't.

Further, with 5'9 guards it's not like we were a threat to get in the lane. That said, I loved Andre Stringer and I'm undecided on if I like Hickey better than Gray. Gray has been a huge disappointment this far IMO

The fact that our guards couldn't get in the lane the last 2 years aggravated me beyond belief. Josh can at least get in the lane and make a play. He just has to make the decision a split second quicker.

Agreed we haven't shot a ton of threes in the last two games but that doesn't mean the problem is fixed. My comment was basically that when we face pressure and things aren't going our way we will revert to the form we have shown for the past two seasons under JJ and continue to jack up threes. If you think old habits can be broken in two games you don't understand basketball

so what you're saying is that a group of young players can't learn when not to take bad shots? yea, that makes sense

we had two midgets for guards the last 2 years. they couldn't do anything but shoot 3s.

I loved Andre and Hickey, but I'd take Gray over Hickey anyway of the week. Gray has struggled in a few games, but he has way more upside. Once Gray gets the mental side down, he will be a very good one.

I think he came into the season with over inflated expectations with the transition from JUCO to D1, especially with scoring, but obviously he has struggled with the turnovers. It does not come from being unprepared or not skilled enough. He will get there mentally and he can already turn it on in some games.

They should still have the Internet where she moved to, unless it was REALLY far away...

*Florida (4-3) beat the Gumps (3-4)
*Arkansas (5-2) beat Tennessee (4-3)
*UGA (5-2) beat Vanderbilt (1-6)
*A&M (5-2) beat Auburn (2-5)

We need to stay in the top four and will do so with a win tonight. The loss to A&M hurt. We gave that game away. It's sad when we don't make an opponent earn a victory. The OT loss to Missouri also hurt but a little more bearable than A&M.

Well, it's not he hasn't been able to score at this level. He just doesn't play the same role when he was out there.

Keith Hornsby has been ice cold in his SEC home games. He was only 4 of 17 from the floor, including 1 of 9 from the three point line. In SEC road games he has made 14 of 29 from three point range and has scored double figures in each of those games. LSU needs Hornsby to make shots home or away to be a good team, so getting him going in the PMAC is essential.

Interesting.

I'm just not sold on Gray all the way. I know it sounds cliche' but he looks like Tack with the ball in his hands (granted he doesn't shoot as much). I hope he puts it together sooner than later but I'm just not sure he'll ever be the guy we thought he'd be. Patterson has been a pleasant surprise for a guy I was convinced was here just to land Simmons

South who is going to be guarding sindarius thornwell. I know notice is suppose to be their best scorer but I think thornwell is their best player?
