Which should I choose for lunch...
Monkey King Noodle or Tanoshii Ramen?
Or is there some killer ramen place that I should know about?

Monkey King Noodle is the right answer
not sure how often you are in downtown Dallas, but former head chef of Kinichi is starting his own place in Trinity Groves(about 1 mile from downtown) that is opening in 3 weeks called Sushi Bayashi.
read where it will be Tokyo style sushi and ramen

Will keep an eye out for Bayashi.
Thanks for the recommendation. Monkey seems to have a smaller menu but I'll hit it up on your advice. I should have included you in the title since you provide solid guidance. Thanks again.

Most people would say Tanoshi but you can't go wrong with either place. The best Ramen place is maybe 20ft Seafood which is owned by an anglo and is a new england style seafood place. Tei Ann is great too but kind pricey.
