Me neither, go to bed at 8pm to wake up refreshed at 5am? I'm lucky if I fall asleep before 12pm, and I still get up at 5 feeling alright.

Respectfully, what a dumbass calculator. Why not just say "you should get 9 hours of sleep"

Does the OT have a reading comprehension problem. You are given a range of different times you can fall asleep. Not hard to understand.

I don't get it. I can figure out how many hours of sleep I will get if I fall asleep at certain times. What does this do exactly? Am I missing something?

So it just tells you to get 9 hours of sleep?

Coding for that must have taken years.

Are yall serious? Enter 7am for wake up time, it then gives you 6 different options of when is best to fall asleep in order to not wake up in a deep sleep cycle

I don't get it. I know if I go to bed at 11 and get up at 7, that is 8 hours assuming I fall asleep quickly which I normally do.

I mean I can count to 10 without too much difficulty, what use is this thing?

Holy shite I am losing faith in humanity It calculates multiple different times based on average sleep cycle length. If you put in wake up time at 7am, it gives you a 9 hour sleep time all the way to a 4.5 hour sleep time

BTW, waking up during a sleep cycle only makes a difference in how you feel upon awakening. Doesn't matter after you have been up for a bit, so who cares?

Also, I'm a strong believer in a minimum of 7 hours of sleep on average and preferably 8-8.5.

Numerous studies have shown you are dumber (lower cognitive function) on less than 7 hours of sleep on a consistent basis and you die sooner and are fatter as stress hormones begin to gradually and chronically elevate with less sleep.

I'll get 4-5 hours once a week regularly on a Friday and/or Saturday when I'm out and/or up late, but the other 5-6 nights a week, it is 8 hours, sometimes 9.

It gives times to wake up feeling refreshed, meaning not in a rem cycle.
