Posting this for a friend. Figured all you pirogue lovers would enjoy and maybe some ballers would like to participate.

If I'm not mistaken, the facebook pic is not the pirogue up for auction, but I'll try to attach an original pic of the one just built. No you don't need facebook to view that link. Enjoy!

If there is a pirogue worth $4,000, I would guess that's it. Mighty fine little boat right there.

Certainly not in my price range, but thought it was a beautiful boat and for a good cause.

That thing is awesome. If I had a 7500 sq ft. lodge with 25' cathedral ceilings that thing would be proudly displayed.

I just don't think it would fit in my single wide.

And helped two families.

I will be getting some sinker to build a couple. Just bought a bandsaw mill. Will be at my house tomorrow afternoon. Just another toy to play with.

Nice boat, but I would like to see it up close. Bet it's a heavy SOB.

No less then 1/2". My Dads was built out of a hair over 1/4". Just wished I still had it.

How is it going BP?

That med didn't work out. Like to kill me and was sick as a dog for a few days after getting off it. Reading the side effects, first thing they listed was not to be used if you are in heart failure.
