I've heard that Clapp was the frontrunner at center. I really have no idea, but I think I read that - maybe in a Detilier interview.

I would be really excited if this is true. Clapp is a very impressive athlete and could make a mean center. Porter was fine, but I think we can expect an upgrade at that position.

It is VERY rare for a lineman to be able to come in at LSU and start his very first year. Even some of our best have been backups or had redshirt seasons as freshman. Is Teuhama just that special? Seriously asking, not trying to put anyone down. It takes incredible conditioning to go through a full SEC schedule.

People tend to forget about recruits on the OL. Brumfield was one of the best in the country and as athletic a lineman that there was in his class. Would be surprised if he doesn't earn that RG spot. Teuhema is a really great talent and I think he will do great things here, but I think it start at whatever position Alexander leaves open.

I agree Alexander is better suited for LG, but apparently he is being told he will play either Tackle position. We will see.

OT - Hawkins and Vadal
OG - Pocic and Boutte
Center - Dodd

IIRC, it's already been said Vadal is kicking back out to OT.

And once again, everyone forgets about Boutte. Outside of Pocic, Vadal, and Hawkins, he's our most experienced OL and saw action in 8 games as a true Freshman and played in all 13ganes this past season. He's the next man up.
