I didn't even realize they were opening one, but last night I went to grab a drink and try some food. The decor is pretty cool and has a really nice patio. Keep in mind I have never been to the Nola location. The food is about what you would expect and The drinks were huge, but good.

It was absolutely packed last night. I can definately see this place sticking around. The patio is key since there aren't a ton of places with one.

If you can find the long shite show of an execuse of a thread from last week, some in that thread will disagree with you about the decor.

The one where the part owner who had never tried the NO locale posted about 20 times?

Remember back when the Londoner was opening and one of the owners was shoving it down our throat, claiming that they had nothing to do with the place?

And I do like dining at the one in N.O. on the patio with my family.

Im sure they are all interior designers and architects while also being chefs and restaurateurs. It's just different, and has some character. The patio will be a nice place to get a drink during the summer.

In a sea of desperately monotonous restaurants, being a little different is usually all it takes to kick the competition's arse.

I stopped by and had a few drinks with friends who work nearby. It does have lasting potential if for only the after work drinking crowd. Some serious talent has found the place already.

Not surprising. The other thread was pretty much unanimous that the place will make a killing based on atmosphere and drinks even though the food is dogshit.

I think it'll be fine here.

We went one Friday a few weekends ago, right at 4:30 when it opened. By 6:30, the place was packed up like crazy, and there was a line forming at the door. Drinks were good, and the salsa was ok but nothing special. It was like a dark/brownish salsa.

Went last night for dinner and drinks. Really like the patio area and the warm salsa is really good. The date and I had a couple house margs that were sweet, but good nonetheless. I had the Baja quesadillas with no sides and it was a lot of food. She had the enchiladas with cheese grits and really enjoyed it. Price was moderate and service could have been a little better. I'll give it a thumbs up and will be back.
