Appearances, they look a bit nicer but i think it doesn't blend as well with the shiny metal. Blemishes would be more obvious on stainless. What am i missing about the value/benefits of stainless?

More durable. No blueing to wear off. More rust/corrosion resistant.

Easier to find when you lean it against a tree or drop it in (clear) water.

Pro for Stainless: Rust resistance.

Con for Stainless: You look extra gangsta.

honest opinions about this "used" rifle, are those blemishes anything worth not buying it over?

Can't view it at work, but if it's light rust or something, you can get it out pretty easily. Might help you get a good deal.

Ha, apparently I can't see a image that has been linked to a website that is blocked at work. If it's light, I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm sure some people on here do different things, but Rem Oil will do a pretty good job of taking some surface rust off. Let it soak and wipe it off with a towel.

That's not bad at all. The all will get that from leaning them in a stand.

basically is a used stainless barrel for price of a new blued barrel.... tough decision. I already have a blued barrel tikka with my 30-06 and walnut stock, might be cool to go stainless, synthetic stock on this one

Man, those blemishes are very minor. It looks like a brand new rifle.

I've always viewed most firearms as tools. Blemishes just give them a little character.

SS can be bead blasted to make appearance look new ... 2-3 minutes and $25 cost

chromoly will have to be re-blued if wanting a new look finish .... several days/weeks at the gunsmith and cost $100+
