I'm thinking they'll go out at midnight tonight, but I'm not sure.

On Tuesday, Sling TV will start opening the service to those who had requested invites. A full launch is expected in about two weeks.

I appreciate what they are trying to do with a la carte pricing, but there are just too many contracts they have no control over that will indefinitely limit their selection. Having ESPN is nice, but sports are spread out over too many channels these days. Look at the NFL blackout rule and all the MLB games, for instance, that people without cable/satellite TV will still have to stream via an additional online purchase through Sunday Ticket, and/or MLB TV. The costs will add up to an amount that is unjustifiable over traditional packages, imo.

Netflix, Hulu, Sling TV, plus a few other subscriptions and you could still be at half the price of normal cable. My issue with Sling TV is that it isn't a la carte at all. It is just a smaller bundle that will still include channels i don't want to pay for.

Save for ESPN/ESPN2 this isn't offering much that can't already be found streaming. I love the idea, and I hope it helps start the process of getting more streaming options. The only thing I'd be interested in is the sports stuff...ESPN and ESPN2 by themselves aren't worth $20 (in my opinion) and depending on what is offered in the "sports package" will depend on whether or not I think it's worth $25 (doubt it). I think for now I'll stick with giving my buddy some cash for access to his ESPN account + VIP Box and OTA antenna.
