Such an interesting crowd. I wish they had some more pork. I didn't get any.

I did chuckle at the A&M fans playing Battleship in the bar.

Just fricking with you

I do love the cheese plates from Baccanal, though.

If you see an Old White Haired Fart you've never noticed one Sunday, step up to him and inquire "Meridian?". Might be me.

I'll likely be getting a little drunk next week. The lady is headed to BR for a shower. I hope to get drunk enough and pass out before the Super Bowl. I don't feel like watching it.

I really need to go back. I'll be in the city this weekend, but between KdV and dinner/brunch reservations and beer plans.. doubt I'll go.

do you have a VIP parking spot in the quarter or something? I'm amazed at how many times you go to Lafittes so conveniently

I know a bunch of good spots. I used to have a spot a few years ago. That fell through. I had a pass for the school on St. Philip.

The mornings are not bad to park.

This weekend was pretty weak Arse but I do appreciate the effort you put into it.

Sidenote..... who the frick names a restaurant Backanal? Sounds like it should be a gay bar.

I feel the same way about those Arana tacos.

However, I did make a return trip and got the burrito, which may have been one of the best I've ever had.

I'll stick with Taceaux Loceaux for tacos and Arana for the plate dinners.

Im positive you have to do a couple tequila flights before eating the tacos at Arana.

Those fancy craft beers don't have anything on good cheap bourbon!
