Yeah his TOs are hurt by that bad 7 TO game against the lol6ers. His assists should continue to rise with AD back and ryno maybe getting his shite together.

Tyreke is a PG, not a SG or SF.
I like him as the PG

Gordon and Tyreke have both been playing well since the addition of Pondexter or the absence of Jrue. Not sure if its either of those factors, but its nice to see.

This worries me. last year Reke didn't start playing well until Jrue went down as well. I hope it is just coincidence and they can coincide.

Tyreke needs to come off the bench. Give him around 30 minutes yes, but he doesn't need to spend the entire game going against starting SFs and their extra length. At least 10-15 minutes a game going against a backup guard would be good for him.

Like I said, Tyreke is a PG. Jrue is a PG. They both need to have the ball in their hands to be effective. Tyreke is actually a good facilitator as a PG, besides the fact that he is a lot bigger than every other PG in the NBA outside of when Lebron plays point.
When Tyreke plays as the SG/SF he tries to be the scorer instead of a good team player like he is when he's a PG. He's even said this before.

As crazy as it sounds, i'm wouldn't be upset about trading Jrue and having Tyreke be the PG, assuming we get something very decent in return for Jrue.

I agree. I like Tyreke much more than Jrue.

I've never seen anyone get to the rim the way Tyreke does (excluding the King).

3 weeks ago we were trying to dump Reke and now we are shipping out Jrue to get the ball in Reke's hands more.

Interesting.

I like Jrue, and i like Tyreke, but I don't like them on the same team. I wouldn't object to getting rid of one of them, whichever would yield more in a trade.

Like two first round picks?

People need to pump the brakes, I know it's frustrating that Jrue is injured right now, but he's a really good player when healthy.

This is false

Jrue is a very good outside shooter(far better than reke). He's done fine off the ball.

He's not nearly the defender jrue is and while I like tyreke a lot the offense gets screwy at times with him. Jrue is a better "floor general". Jrue is 6'4 with great length so he also has the advantage 90% of the time(even against 2s.)

When Tyreke plays as the SG/SF he tries to be the scorer instead of a good team player like he is when he's a PG. He's even said this before.

When he's our 6th man(like how he was that one game before jrue went out and put up 21/10/5) he's very effective as he's far far superior to pretty much any other bench guy.

The problem last year was trust/PT. As long as he gets 30 mins,he's fine. He's also had some really good games at SG. There's nothing wrong with him playing the "1" and Jrue playing the "2"

Absolutely not. Jrue's a core piece and will be on this team for a while.

Do you people forget Jrue is an elite defender?

I think there is no doubt that Reke is better at getting to the rim, but Holiday is the better all around player. His defense #1, passing, shooting stroke, and taking care of the ball are all better than Reke. I feel that the offense flows better with Holiday at PG although it is looking better of late with Reke.

This team will be fine with both of them on the same team with the rest of the team able to play off the ball well.

This is a huge concern for me also. Holiday and Evans doesn't compliment each other well. It's becoming evident when you see Gordon with Evans or Gordon with Holiday.

Both guys play better when they are ball dominant and can play with someone who can play that off ball role effectively. The flow is much better with Gordon.

"shooting stroke"

Jrue is a sub 40% jump shooter and league average 3P shooter

"elite defender"

i mean shite i know he is "our guy" but come on

cant we just call him a good player and stop sunshine pumping like we have an elite PG

Say what you will about stats and such, but just by the eye test, we look like a more lethal team with Reke at the point. He's also a hell of a rebounder.

Jrue is meh to me. He's decent at everything... is he really that great of a defender? Does he lock down opposing PGs like Beverly?
