I have not yet deleted last year's owners in case they change their mind just in case swamie, tchamp, etc. stay in.

Based on the responses, it looks like the only change we are making so far is to run FAAB daily at 10:00 am CST.
The bottom feeder penalty is still up for discussion. Basically, do we want to institute a minor bottom feeder penalty for last place or even the bottom three places that goes to first place? It would encourage activity and good management the whole season. Everyone would to send in like $65 to me instead of $50, and I would have to PayPal almost everyone back their $15 at season's end.
The key decision is the draft date. I definitely want everyone's opinion. You can always write it on the spreadsheet linked here.

Never did FAAB, I understand the concept, but just for clarification:
Suppose I drop player X on Friday at 7 am.
Player X can be picked up as soon as 10 am Saturday morning?

Players are always on waivers. You have a $100 budget over the season to make moves. You can bid any amount including $0 on a player. Highest bid wins the player. All transactions will be automatically processed at 10 am, but I am sure you could drop a player at 7 am and just have an empty roster spot for a few hours. The point of FAAB is to add a little strategy and prevent breaking news about closers just being a race to the computer.

Ok so here's a scenario:
Team 1 drops player X at 7 am Friday.
How much time do I have to put a bid in if player x is a highly touted player, a day?
Also suppose I bid $10 on player X
You bid $10 on player x
What's the tiebreaker?

I would guess you have until 9:59 am to make the bid. I do not know the answer. I cannot imagine that many players can get dropped outside of 10:00 am. I think mwg knows the most about FAAB in fantasy baseball.
I would assume you up to have 24 hours 99% of the time. Last year, we ran FAAB twice and not enough moves could be made.
The tiebreaker is reverse order of standings. It sucks, but ESPN will not offer any other tiebreaker. It would be pretty rare if it is an issue.

You can bid on the player the same day if they are dropped the morning before waivers happen.
