New Truck Tax Deduction

When filing taxes, what items am I deducting? I live in Louisiana but bought truck in TX if that matters any.

None, pretty sure... unless you are using for business purposes only or deducting business miles.

You can deduct state sales tax or state income tax. If you live in LA, you are probably deducting state income tax.
But if you deduct state sales tax, then it is the amount of sales tax on the invoice, which is an add-on to the regular deduction for state sales tax (which is a formula amount).
