There were 4 scouts in front of us with interest in his pitching...
Not surprising.
If things go right for him, he'll only pitch for 2 seasons.

Scuba -
It was just one outing but I am encouraged by his velocity. A closer needs to bring the heat - the high, stinky cheddar.

Pump your brakes. He's gonna have to beat out Domangue first

Cartwright (he types begrudgingly)

Bain
Latz

That's a shite ton of decent-to-quality arms to have in the bullpen.

I was a little surprised to see Domangue return this year, he completely lost it at the end of last year.

Can Stallings not start?
It's possible, but I'm not sure where his stamina is at right now considering he missed last year with TJ.

When did he have it?

I believe he had it in the Spring of his senior year, so he should be coming up on two years removed from it. Mainieri sounded giddy about him at media day.
ETA: Nevermind, read that completely wrong.
So the above post is about Stallings and his surgery and I agree with the comment about Domangue.

He wasnt very bad until the end of last season, at that point he couldnt even get an out or two without giving up a handful of runs.

He had 2 or 3 decent outings in the middle part of the season, but you could kind of see what he was going to be from the start.
That first appearance at UNO where he couldn't throw a single strike was dreadful.

It's so nice that Manieri gives the BP pitcher a scholarship. Such a nice thing he has done for Domangue.

11.7 scholarships between 35 players... No one has a full ride
