Shiner

Shitty beer. TX has dozens of better breweries.

Some good craft breweries in TX in addition to Shiner...

Anyone have the Cedar Creek Dankosaurus yet?

I liked Stubb's BBQ a lot but I might have been caught up in the history of the place. The musical history of that place is incredible.

Mighty Fine has damn good burgers . HEB owns Central Market and sells some of the products in store . Whole Foods is nice but you will pay premium prices .

Shipleys. We get it, you're a fat arse. Some things are bigger in Texas as evidenced by your massive love handles.

You should add Cheddars to your list. I know they have them outside of Texas, but I've never seen a state so enthralled by a restaurant chain. Seriously, next time you're in Texas and you ride by one, take a look at the parking lot, I bet it's packed...

I've never even seen a cheddars here. there was one in Shreveport and it was always packed with 90% black people.

I tried to go twice but it was a 2 hour wait each time. the first time, we were literally the only white people there. the second time there was one white guy at a table with 2 black guys.

it was the strangest thing I'd seen

Buc-ee's

There is a sign on 1-35 just south of Oklahoma City that is advertising for Bucc-ee's 400ish miles away in San Marcos.

And it's not a company, but Tex-Mex in general is something Texans brag about

that must be the mecca for that chain, went there a couple of summers ago to stock up for a weekend of tubing, fairly large place to not really stock much at all, bought beer there then went to a regular grocery store
