Bird shot is supposed to be non lethal?

I know it isn't a dangerous round but given the right circumstances it can obviously seriously injure or even kill someone.
That seems like a really bad idea to fire bird shot into a crowd of people.

I am sure if you hit a child or a old person with bird shot they'd die. Could easily blind someone. I wouldn't want to be hit with a bb gun so I sure as well won't be testing if bird shot is lethal.

They probably misread the directions on the box of shells. Those cops should pass out flowers instead of shooting those guys.

I had a friend get shot while we were duck hunting and he decided to finish out the hunt before going to the hospital. Got shot in the side from about 30 yards. Dude was borderline retarded though (13 ACT).
That being said, any shot out of a gun can kill anyone. A beanbag can kill people. A paintball can kill people.
Need specifics on the particular shell in question though to make my final decision.

Lmao what? If by "non leathal" they mean "not as deadly as buckshot or a slug" the sure.

My pappy would load his shotgun shells with peas and salt and shoot at people's knees for fun when he drank too much whiskey.

Had a friend die several years ago in a duck blind. A friend they brought who had never hunted before had his gun standing on the bench with safety off. It slid down and went off and nearly took his head off. Closed casket.
