Haven't been by the brewery. But I'll go this week and hook it up. I think I have extra at my house too.

So...didn't want to wait til tonight and cut a piece for myself for breakfast this morning.

This is how it looks out of the box.

and this is a slice

I thought it was fricking delicious. Saltiness from the savory aspects and a little bit of sweetness from the Steen's syrup.

Think of a boudin kolache, but doughier, i guess.

I'd highly recommend it. I was passing through Laffy when I saw this monstrocity pop up on my FB feed, so I gave Twins a call. They bake them in 2 batches I believe, one in the morning, and one for the afternoon. I was lucky enough to be able to snag one for their 3pm offerings.

Small is around $30
Large is around $46

Yep, pricey...but for a novelty item like this, I'd buy it again.

I bought the small, which should serve...oh i dunno, maybe 6-8?

they told me over the phone that the Large should feed around 20.

I will say that when I picked up my order yesterday, there were around 6 Larges for sale to anybody there. So if anybody wants one, I'd swing by there around 3 or so to see if they have any unspoken for.

again, it's a novelty item. and it's scarce. and it's in high demand.

i agree it's way pricey, but you're not gonna buy something like this every day. If you are, then you're eating way better than the rest of us.

Just saw this one on Facebook "inspired by boudinlink.com topped with bacon". They're being sold in New Orleans by Cafe Cake. It says to get them while they last. No details on size or on the website that I could find. Have no idea from where the boudin hails.

Sorry about the size. I forgot how to reduce the pics. I'll edit if someone gives me the magic forumla.

You are also likely way heavier than the rest of us too.

You can get as drunk as you want if you ride a bike. Just remembered that I may not be able to use my bike Saturday, though.
