Amazing how the weather only affected their balls. God hates the Patriots and this definitely proves Les Miles has lost control of atmospheric effects.

Colts balls were over inflated.

The Colts had overinflated balls. Brady likes his at a lower pressure.

Yea, he's full of shite. I know it won't happen but I'd love Goodell to come down hard on them.

There is none. But it's an explanation as to how it's possible the balls on the Colts sidelines were not as affected.

Brady has already gone on record saying he likes balls with PSI readings in the bottom half of NFL regs.

Someone should ask Luck how he likes his balls. **snicker**

I learned BB has handled dozens of balls this week.

"I'm going to take a few questions, but will answer none of them!"-Bill.

For the record, I'm rooting for the Pats in the bowl.

Does he seriously expect people to believe that?

Do you even science bro? After those balls were checked out by the NFL they were more than likely taken out to the field where they sat for over an hour doing nothing.

Compare that to the second half where they re-inflated them and started play with them almost immediately.

Do you even science? There is a simple equation that shows the 2 psi drop in a football is impossible at those weather conditions

MIT and Boston College disagrees with you.

I loved the way he said he was embarrassed that he had to spend as much time on this as he had.

yeah. BB is saying they rub the ball and create the texture before game. This process will generate heat. The heat will cause less air pumped in the ball when make it 12.5psi.

After the ball is put in the fields, it wii lose more psi.

My guess is patroits does not know this before. Tom Brady just want the ball to be 12.5 psi.

i think the colts ball. they did not rub the ball before gave to ref. also they like the ball at the higher end of psi range. so their ball does not drop much. Still in the range

Tell it to this professor of physics:

quote:

Say you inflate the ball to 12.5 PSI — the NFL minimum — in a room at 70 degrees, and then used the ball outside where it was 50 degrees. That 12.5 PSI would eventually become 11.5 PSI. If you inflate the ball to 12.5 PSI in an even warmer room where it was, say, 80 degrees, and then played outdoors at 40 degrees, that 12.5 PSI would become 10.5 PSI — a drop of two PSIs.

- Dr. Michael Naughton, chair of the Department of Physics, Boston College

And just in case you don't like the source since he did come from Boston College, here's another professor from the University of Illinois saying the exact same thing on ESPN yesterday:

I would tell that professor why jn the frick is he using 80 degrees. It would be 65-68 in the patriots locker room, not 80 I would then ask that professor why he is using 40 degrees as his low end when it was 51 outside
