Some folks follow the Manufacturers recommendations to the letter. Others perceive this as overkill.

Currently, I'm doing oil change every 5,000 miles, rotate tires every 10,000.

What about coolant?

transmission flush?

brake fluid

water pump, assorted belts

air filter?

Your thoughts?

I maintain all that myself except oil changes and tire rotations.

Oil changes every 3k

Tires rotates every other oil change

Oil/ oil filter: every 5 to 6,000 miles
Air filter: every 12,000 miles
Tire rotation: every 12,0000 miles
Spark plugs: every 45,000 miles
Will probably service the transmission at 80,000 per the owner's manual. Still on the original brake pads and rotors at 62,000 right now...that'll probably be my next big maintenance item.

I go by dealership schedule as not to void my extended warranty and to get the 2 sets of tires included with the purchase of my jeep.

Dealer recommended service at the dealer for me.

Depending on what you drive you should probably rotate tires more often especially on an SUV. Once tires cup they are done as far as ride quality goes.
