I can agree with that. I like it fine enough, but I hate when someone is like "Oooohhh, they have Spinach and Artichoke Dip! Let's get that!". It's really boring to me. Same for calamari. Last night I had to overrule my friend who wanted to get calamari at a restaurant that has the most fantastic baked oyster appetizer. No. I am not wasting $15 on what basically tastes like fried batter dipped in the same red sauce that is going to come on my entree.
ETA: The spin dip at Chimes tastes nothing like spin dip I've had elsewhere, and I'm always up for ordering it. Tastes more like baked cheese and bacon.

I used to be like that.
After a few times I figured out that it's not that great to me.
