Didn't like Shaw when he was playing against UGA, but I think he's a better NFL QB prospect than Manziel. Hope he (Shaw) does well.

I do to. I think that they have what they want in Shaw right in front of them.

Manziel is clearly a moron. He's shown it time and time again plus he's an Aggie.

I wonder why people were so quick to call Vince Young and JaMarcus stupid and not Johnny Football.

Aren't his parents really well off? Hell likely never be hurting for money barring jail time or drug addiction at some point

And bel have a billion stations lining up to put him on TV whenever his career is over

He was on ESPN national championship coverage last year and he was 100000 times better in the booth than Tebow and most of ESPNs lineup to be honest

Shaw's not franchise QB. He'll have a long term career as a backup. But I don't think he's "the guy".

Manziel honestly should have gone 4th-6th rd. Props to his team for getting him 1st Rd money. But the dude is a hot mess in the pros.

Both actually showed signs of being decent unlike Manziel. We'll see if JFF ever has his "moment."

He can always return to College Station and be beloved.

The Browns will be drafting a new QB in the next 2 years.

One A&M source said Manziel's attitude is catching up to him. Manziel was lax in preparation unless the Aggies were playing a top-tier opponent, such as Alabama or Auburn, when "you couldn't get him out of the film room," the source said. Against Rice or Sam Houston State, not so much.

That explains his success against LSU.
