I still think Black Ops 1 and Black Ops 2 are the best CoD games ever followed closely by CoD 4. But Advanced Warfare definitely caught me off guard by how good it was.

It seems to me people get caught up in ranking how good each COD game is as compared to the rest of the games in the franchise.
The bottom line is, is it fun? AW is a lot of fun, Ghosts wasn't.

I agree with this. Ghost was the first CoD game that I played where I didn't put at least 24 hours into it. I've only played Advanced Warfare for the past week and I've already played around 16 hours. It's fast paced and that's my style so I guess that's why I like it so much.

You should try comparing CoD to other games outside the franchise. that's when you realize all CoDs are garbage
