Didn't realize Spydercos were so popular, a lot of people have them on here.

the most useful:

has knife, scissors, file, toothpick, and tweezers.
Small enough so there is no downside to always having it on you.

Puma - old school, I never see these any more. They were all the rage when I was in high school. It was cool to have one and work it until it was easy to open the blade with just your thumb only using one hand.

Case Gen Stag Muskrat - mine looks just like this one. I have never carried it so it is still brand new.

I have a Rigid knife that looks like something Elton John or Liberace would carry. It is silver with what looks like gold inlays. Very nice looking knife but very flashy at the same time. Have never carried it. It is in a zip lock next to the Case.

I have two Kershaw. They look the same - one big one one small one. I couldn't find a picture to match. They are metal with a large wood inlay. Kind of like this one but the wood is larger than the carbon fiber on this one.

I have carried both of the Kershaws but preferred the small one. Carried the Puma for years. I am going to have to break into my briefcase to see the Puma and small Kershaw again - forgot the combination.

I'm pissed because my all-time fave and current carry has been discontinued:

Kershaw Boa Partially Serrated

Used to list at $120 ($88-$100 at a gun show). There are still a few online options that have them... but are $175-$200 now. Still going to get one more at some point.

My "other" carry that I'm trying to acclimate to since I being forced away from my favorite is the Kershaw Shallot serrated:

It's obviously slimmer and lighter (which is OK in some ways since I'm female), but it just doesn't feel as right. Mostly because I'm an underhand gal when it comes to self defense. I like the pommel on the Boa MUCH MUCH more.

My favorite in my small collection is this little "paper weight"...

Al Mar SERE AS4B Auto Serrated. Fantastic in terms of fit, functionality and durability.

I didn't realize how many I brought up here and how many I've acquired since moving... That's not even half the folders I have, and quite a few fixed blades.

I've had mine for a few years now.

It's a very simple design. Very light, classic and elegant.

I think you will love the Opinel.
