Is anyone as pumped about this as me?

1981 New York is an awesome setting for a crime movie (see Donnie Brasco). The cast is solid too.

Will definitely be seeing this one in theaters.

Has 90% on Rotten Tomatoes so far.

When is it releasing? I haven't heard of it, but I love the crime genre.

Releases this weekend or next depending on your location.

Early reviews have mostly been fantastic.

I streamed it the other night and it was very good. Not your typical gangster movie. Highly recommend it

Common for Baton Rouge. Will probably show up at Cinemark for a couple of weeks in Feb.

Saw it in NYC last weekend. Really enjoyed it. As someone said, it's not your typical gangster movie. In fact it's debatable as to who is a gangster.

I'm watching it right now and it's good so far.

I've never heard of this guy, anything else I might have seen him in?

J.C. Chandor is a beast. Anyone who hasn't seen Margin Call or All Is Lost needs to - ASAP.

Drive
Inside Llewyn Davis (unreal in this)
The Nativity Story

Besides film you are luckily viewing, probably his biggest roles to date, but he's about to be everywhere.
