Last night. Also poured in 28 against nwst. How much better would this team be with a beast like him running the floor. It's pretty ridiculous that the only two nba caliber shooting guards (Markel Brown) to come from Louisiana in the last six or seven years didn't even give LSU a serious look.

It's more like LSU didn't give them a serious look.

And you forgot to mention Langston Galloway.

ALthough, I don't think any of these guys were huge misses for us.

What the frick is this? Blame fricking Trent. He didn't offer Qualls, Langston Galloway, or Kel and he was late on Greg Monroe. God he sucked horse dick.

Galloway was on Moscona the other day after dropping 20 on the Pels
He had family in that area and a relative on coaching staff at St Joes, that's what ultimately sealed the deal.
Plus the Temples were telling everyone they knew not to play for Trent

LSU recruited Langston Galloway vigorously. He signed with St. Joe because he had a relative on the staff there.

They probably did not pursue Markel Brown heavily since they had Ralston Turner and John Derenbecker at the time.

That was Brady, and it would have likely would have taken a coaching change at the time to even have a chance with him. Monroe signed with GT in the early signing period.

Yeah, I remember Galloway's situation. He obviously made the right choice for himself.

I didn't mean to include him as a guy we didn't pursue, but as an NBA caliber guard.

We didn't pursue Brown and Qualls.

It's absurd that Johnny had to start two 5"9 guards because that horse's arse before him couldn't sign a decent shooting guard from his own back yard. I'm sooo glad that era is behind us.

Had Johnny Jones been the Head Coach at LSU at the time Galloway would have come to LSU. LSU sure could have used him! Another talent that would NOT have slipped through the cracks had Johnny been running the show.

Greg Monroe wasn't coming to LSU no matter who the coach was at the time. NIKE had a BIG hand in his choice of schools.
