Eunice man arrested on stolen Walmart electric cart.

Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said Daniel Gaspard, 45, stole $73 worth of electronics, a pack of Mardi Gras cups, a half-gallon of Taaka vodka, an Adidas sun visor and a TV antenna.
He reportedly left the store riding an electric shopping cart that he also stole from Walmart.
Police were told to be on the lookout for a man riding an electric shopping cart.
Someone let police know that Gaspard was riding through a shopping center adjacent to Walmart. He was arrested at a truck stop across the street, Fontenot said.
Gaspard was booked for criminal trespassing and felony theft.

We need video of the low speed pursuit and take down. It spike strips or a pit maneuver were used that would be a bonus.
