So AC Unity released as a hot mess but I had played it for a couple of hours before putting it on the shelf. I decided to give it a go now that there has been time to fix things and WAIT there is no option to start over, that's right you can't start a new game. I have tried deleting the saved game files locally and disabling the cloud sync but it doesn't matter.

This is my next step, but if my suspicion is correct it won't matter as long as they have that cloud data.

Since I pirated the game, all of my save files are local and contained within the game data folder.

I have a pc and I started Unity from the start this way. Click on Ubisoft and you will see a gear at the top right of the screen. Click on it. you will see gear settings- click on that. Uncheck "enable cloud save synchronization for supported games". Close Ubisoft. Go to computer / C: drive / program files 86 /Ubisoft / game launcher / savegames / you will see a file with a lot of numbers and click on it / now delete file 720. If you have your games on another drive, go there / Assassins creed unity/ find file 720 and delete it there as well. now click on your game icon and it will start from the beginning.?

I can't believe you can't start a new game. I guess they realized their games are barely worth playing once, much less a second time.

did all of this except the saved game file on my other drive, we will see if it works, and it's 857 if you have it through steam.

Have no clue. I just did a google search and saw that in the comment section for a video on how to start over on the PS.

This seems odd because I remember distinctly starting my game over.
