If he paid for it, it doesn't really seem like stealing on his end, right?

Unless he knew he was buying stolen goods.

Jusy because he paid them $20 a piece doesn't mean he is in the clear.

Read the article, he lied about it because he knew he was paying for something under the table

He has the best crawfish in town so I'll give him a pass on his criminal activity

Watching the video, it was Randy Montalbano, Jr...what was left out of the article is that he gave them the name of a legitimate limestone business that he received the rocks from then later it admitted it was the DPW workers, so yeah

First I prefer Tonys although he does do a good job.

However he must not be selling enough of them if he can't afford to buy a 12 yard truck of limestone. Do the crime do the time.

A dump truck is like $300 worth of limestone. Why the hell would you risk losing your job or business over that? Idiots.

What if you needed a lot, say around your new house?

You buy it as you can afford it. Seems to me like he needs to be selling more crawfish.

We bought enough this past summer to buy him a few legitimate loads

Randy Sr and Mrs Darleen are great folks, and I've always been a big fan, but I can't lie, this past year the food has slipped in consistency. Especially when neither are on the scene.

I've had some rock hard inedible fried shrimp and skinny strips of catfish scraps, soggy fries, empty medium crabs when not just the sweet spot of crab season. Even the spiciness of the beloved potato salad has been up and down at times.

For now, I think I'm gonna just double up on my Parrains, Jasmine's, etc..
