I recently heard a caller on the radio claim that the Pels were doing so good without Gordon that they should get rid of him because they are so much worse with him playing.

With Gordon W/L 11-10
W/O Gordon W/L 10-11

Must be a genius because I can't figure that out.

To be fair we could completely dissemble the roster and put the d league on the team and they would find a way to be .500

You also have to consider the games missed by AD and Jrue that are included in this number.

Well, those teams are .500 against the Pels in the last week, so...

ETA: Fo real doe, the hate for Gordon comes down to 3 things (some warranted, some not).

1. Contract, it's a killer.
2. His attitude, dude is on record saying he would rather not be here.
3. Injuries, not his fault, but when you combine this with the first 2, it's a recipe for hate and angst.

this hasn't been said since the initial contract signing. he's been a team player since that first year.

As for contract and injury, that was shite luck and it snowballs from there with every fan, even if he plays well

Also not his fault. Can't be mad at a man for wanting money when people will pay it. Plus it's on us that we matched Phoenix's offer.

So you're saying you think Monty is so good of a coach that he can rally a D-League roster to match the output of AD, Tyreke, Ryno, Jrue, and Osik.

I think it's a combo of the contract and the injuries.

I don't hate Gordon at all (I don't even care about the wanting to be here comments if they are real), I just think he's an average NBA starter that is injured often and makes a lot more than he's worth.

"As for now, I don't know what's going on. (If the Hornets match) as of right now, I'd be disappointed."

Not to mention the whole "Phoenix is where my heart is" thing.

Look, I know this was in 2012, and I personally don't hate the guy. The question in the OP was why is there Gordon hate. Well, some fans haven't forgotten about what he said during that restricted free agency debacle,
