Bill Belichick is a liar and a cheat.

I just watched his press conference on the deflated balls. The way he is acting and the manor in which he handled the questions proves to me that he is a liar and a cheater.
I understand that he acts that way most of the time, which furthers my point of why he is lying. If he really didn't know anything about it he would be slightly more upset and willing to speak on the situation instead of giving the same answer over and over again.

Brady and the equipment guys are the culprits.

This is like the most toddlerish post I've ever seen on here.

You have a strange concept of proof.

I think it's pretty obvious that the ball boy is a tPOS that should be dealt with internally

exactly, the media insisting on tying this into "Bill Belichick's already tainted legacy" is so predictable and lazy.

Exactly. Belichick probably didn't even know the balls were deflated nor did he care. The order to deflate, scuff, etc. the footballs ALWAYS comes from the starting QB. He is the only one that cares about the condition of the football. The rest of the guys just want dry footballs on wet days, that's it.

If the Patriots are that good, why can't they win without cheating?

I don't feel like reading through the other 30 threads on the topic, but what is the reasoning for having the two teams provide their own footballs instead of having both teams play with the same set?

Not a Belichick fan at all but John Gruden was quoted yesterday as saying no HC in pro ball has the time or interest for doing anything like messing with the game balls. He said that ball care is 100% up to the equipment mgr & the QB. But if anyone thinks Belicheck didn't know bout it, you're nuts. That would be like Saban saying he knew nothing about this or that to do with his program. Both coaches are control freaks +.

Apparently Peyton lobbied for this a few years ago and got the rule changed, it's just so each QB can use the balls he wants as game balls so they're more comfortable with it. Before they would practice with balls that were broken in and have to play with brand new, slick balls. It's purely a preference thing for each QB, which is why this whole thing is so overblown. Regardless of how the ball is broken in or inflated, it's still a football. Like Aaron Rodgers said, he actually likes them to be inflated as much as possible, just his preference.

This morning, Aikman said on the Ticket in Dallas that if Sean Payton got a year suspension for being in charge of a team that wasn't cheating, then Belichick deserves that at minimum. He said that this starts with Brady and that if what they did to the Saints (which it sounds like he didn't agree with) set a precedent, then Goddell better handle this with as much punishment.
