i already made it across, wife is sitting by toll booth currently... i cant find anything online about an accident though and I haven't gotten any alerts.

I've often wondered why, at least it appears from where I sit, that the Causeway has so many less wrecks/accidents than the Basin. Is it as simple as 18 wheelers?

We had to of gotten off as soon as the accidents occurred. Basically around mile 10 traffic was at a dead stop for no reason we could see anyway. I bet some jackasses trying to fly across the bridge hit that stop and just plowed on through.

Semi traffic is decently low on the Causeway. Especially 53 foot trucks.

Relative to the number that go across the Basin.....there may as well be 0.
