I wonder if any of this was affecting the FO, coaching staff or team during the season. It just seemed like something was "off" beyond the usual football stuff.

Gayle rocks. This is great. Though most thought past few years that Rita would have no active role after Benson kicks it.
Eta - mean active role in management of team as opposed to figurehead or PR. Did not expect her to be completely cut out from ownership, but did expect Gayle to have a more active role.

I think there is no question that it negatively impacted our ability to apply consistent pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

The fear was that Rita would have gone against the plan in place once the old man dies. Gayle and Rita/ Rita's mother have been at a war for the past few months.
