Probably Key. He's one of the "silent" commitments supposedly.

i'd keep an eye on Weathersby this weekend.... i know they are working hard on him, and with Frank and Orgeron on staff, anything is possible

I agree with you. I believe Leo Lewis is coming the 30th. If Lewis was coming this weekend, I think he would be the next LSU commit. I think LSU is the PROHIBITIVE favorite for Leo Lewis...hate to go against my boy Hunter P (40% chance for Lewis) Wonder if that dark cloud of LSU being the favorite to land almost no one is hanging over his head.

Oh sorry, I forgot....Auburn is going to sign 136 prospects this class.

Key is set to announce February 2nd. But I think we get one before then.

Great point! And yes, that is what I remember him saying when he said he would come back and do it on Fox Sports. So yeah, even though I think Key will be an LSU signee, I agree with you. Hard to believe that either this weekend or the next one, some one won't commit. I wouldn't say Peters is out of the question either and I believe he visits this weekend. I think both Peters (MSU) and Lewis (Miss) both flip to LSU.

Of he's ever allowed, Moreau but he may be a last case scenario.

Board that's public

Dillon-could be anytime if he decides to switch
Charlot-signing day but he's sticking. Already known by Bama and they're doing the Kenny Bell thing
Weathersby later the visit it could be anytime. Maybe on the visit but I'd bet he waits until signing day or right before
Robertson-if he decides to flip it could be anytime
Key-he will take that last visit and likely to UGA. Might depend on how hard they push
Tega-after signing day
Jefferson's icing day or close
Jackson-anytime but I doubt its us
Marshall-signing day
Lewis-signing day. Has to avoid all that MS mafia pressure
Peters-same as above but less MS mafia pressure because its MSU
Reid-on his visit if we offer or signing day

Not sure who else is on the board

If I'm making a guess, someone commits before signing day but its not someone we think right now. A lower ranked kid we offer instate or out that the staff is keeping closely guarded right now.

Looking at the public board I see no way we fill this class as has been suggested. Just don't see enough kids worth taking. I do think we should and will take the LA kid at S or athlete. For the life of me I can't remember his name at the moment. Someone can help. Been on the board all year and was thought to be getting an offer in the spring.

Dillon is clearly a possibility since U of Florida's recruiting is in a mess right now. For all the years to be screwed up, the state of Florida has about the best top level talent you will ever see...so far, they have gotten squat! Ivy, Cowart, Jefferson, Toliver, Ridley, McFadden, and Campbell all top 18 and 0 Florida commits! Wow!!!

I don't quite buy the "state pressure" deal. And I'm not quite sure about Charlot...did Kenny Bell actually decommit...Charlot did. I still like Peters or Weathersby/Robertson as the next commit. The timing is right since they just visited/are about to visit.

I don't buy state pressure either, even here, its a copout. What I mean by the MS mafia reference, especially with OM, is if they flip before its too late, the MS guys will go to any means to fix it. As a recruiting fan, when we are after a MS kid and he's leaning our way, without being absolutely sold as with Voorhies, always remember CJ Johnson. That kid was ours until he made it known. Once known, OM and the MS money took care of it. He's playing there but we could've developed him so Mich better.

CJ Johnson...

I'll never forget how that one went down.

I remember Grus saying he talked to his friend in MS and the guy laughed and said they would never let that kid leave the state.

The funniest episode was Jeremy Liggins who would be a Tiger if he had academically qualified. Remember when he literally went to the town square of Oxford, MS and announced for LSU? Hasn't done much at Ole Miss. Comes in on goal line situations and tries to bull his way into the end zone. Personally, I can think of a better use of a scholarship than that. Glad he didn't qualify to enter LSU.

Something just doesn't set right with me when a guy is listed QB/DL.
