Have only had something tailored once or twice, but I went to Sunoak Tailor on Johnston St next to Judice Inn, across from the Grand.
Went fine.
ETA: Someone who has to get dressed up on the reg, might have a better suggestion.

I use Steve's Clothiers off of Johnston St. I've bought 3 custom suits from them in the past 2 years and love them both.

There is a (He's El Salvadorian the name escapes me) pretty good one in the corner of the shopping center on Ambassador right near Johnston Street , across from Ridge Road. He is pretty solid. It is in the same shopping center as that new Vietnamese Restaurant.
