Gordon Freeman and my Skyrim elf wizard are going to take a flaming crowbar to that Asian's knees.

Put me in the pro-voice category. Nobody envisions themselves as Link. I hated Dead Space 1 because it consists of a bunch of fetch quests. Isaac just feels like a drone. I never once envisioned myself as him. 2 was a huge improvement in a lot of ways, and adding a voice was one of them

Voice acting in Zelda isn't exactly a new topic. Everyone comes from a different perspective. I like it the way it is but knowing the games he likes, I'm not surprised he feels different.

I'd still try it, but I'm pretty much convinced I would hate it if Link had a voice.

Yeah I don't play Zelda for the deep and rich story.

The best Nintendo moments are when its just music, you're stuck and alone with your thoughts

Spend so much time on that one part and you start humming the music the next day at work

Again, I don't think it detracts from the stories at all.

To me Zelda always had a lonely feeling that started with this

That old man just fricks with your head the whole game. The next two swords he says "Learn to master it and you can have it." Uh, no. He gives it to you right away with no training as long as you have enough hearts, which he doesn't mention. Wtf

Every other AAA game comes broken too, should Nintendo try that?

Nintendo has nothing to learn from other companies? Isolating themselves from the rest of the community is what put them in their current situation. Voice acting isn't that big of a deal, but you expect to see it included in a story based game. If they are that adamant about no VA for Link, they could at least voice the other characters. The weird noises that are there instead of normal communication break what little immersion Zelda has.

You never know. I've heard that exact line from someone who was defending Nintendo.

They were being completely serious. Just trying to cover my bases.

One of my good friends is a hardcore Zelda fan and couldn't even finish Skyward Sword.

Yep I love Zelda but Skyward Sword was hard to finish. 2/3 into the story it just dies, lot's of back tracking and repetition.

Loftwing was a bitch at times as well.

I don't think they need VO for Zelda but the broken game comment was sarcastic.

This.

No one really plays Zelda for the story.

You play it for the incredible game play, which is what Nintendo is all about.

There are many other games and developers that do game play as good if not better in the Action genre, especially after TP and SS. The story combined with the game play is what makes Zelda.

I didnt care for the first 1/3 of the game. It picks up after that. Once you get past the parts where you have to be a wolf it gets good.

The wolf sequences actually grew on me the 2nd and 3rd time I played the game. I actually like them now. I've always liked when you have control and you can go between forms at will though.

I think Twilight Princess is the Zelda game that can benefit the most from an HD remaster on Wii U. I always hated myself for not getting the gamecube version. I'd much prefer to play with a regular controller.

Well the beginning of OoT wasn't that great either but it ended up being the greatest game of all time... So there's that.
