At his best I don't think he's a keeper jn this league, much less based on possible potential

I think he certainly will be eventually; may not be this year though.
I'm just not keen on keeping C in general, especially paying for one coming off of a career year. Their years of keeper worthy play generally don't last long; too hard to keep from breaking down.

There just arent that many good hitting catchers, really. Especially power hitting catchers.
It's not like keeping Matt Wieters coming off serious injury or anything.
Dude went 25/80 in only 114 games. That bandbox will be kind to him for years to come.

I'll look when I get home, but I'm not all that keen on sending picks for players. I like Betts/Betances enough to where I don't believe it's worth sending picks for a minor upgrade.
I planned on buying keepers but I've already done a 2 for 3 trade & Betances is now likely a CL, so my situation has changed.

Yes, trade Freeman, Votto, Kipnis, Arenado, or Pence + picks for an upgrade. Not trade a pick for a player so I can have what I would consider a meager upgrade over Betances.

I went with either what I found in this thread (nine owners posted their current keepers) or what I assumed are your eight. I just made guesses on a few, but it should help us see the player pool. Let me know if any of your current keepers are wrong.
The best current non-keeper I have seen is Cole Hamels, but I think MWG will end up keeping Hamels over Teheran if no one buys Hamels.
