The more I think about it, the more confused I get about their choice of analysis and statistics. Their purpose is to analyze every game of each QB rather than taking their average across a games; however, by using the same variable for each game and using a clustering method of the means, they are probably not gaining much information because the groups generally follow the expected order. Instead this just shows the general distribution for individuals with a certain QBR. Due to the clear upper (100) and lower (0) bound, not unlike a percentage, those on the extremes will have more skewed distribution and those in the middle will have a more symmetrical distribution. Seems like the Beta (maybe) distribution that is commonly used with percentage data.
