If we get Avery Johnson then I can't follow this team anymore

Not that Monty said this, but you can't say you were without your two best players, then beat two good teams on the road then lose to these teams. Watch us beat the Hawks. I'm sick of this chicken shite!!!

He did lead the mavericks to the finals.....
I don't get the hate for this guy.
Can someone please explain.

He got fired from the Mavs for having an amazing team and never did great, also since he got fired no one has even considered him as a coach. So better question is why should he be our next coach, other than he is a local

He didn't lead the mavs to shite. They already had a great great roster. His team hated his guts and he was pretty bad x and o wise. He was fired from two teams that were successful and has never gotten another sniff. There's a reason for that.

He inherited a beast of a team from Don Nelson. He got to the Finals with that team in '06, and when he began to meltdown under the pressure of the Finals, his team followed suit, losing 4 straight to the Heat.
Then his 1 seed team the next year lost in the first round to the 8th seed Warriors.
Then he had about a 30% win percentage with the Nets.
