exactly! how convienient he had a decent year in his contract year. no biggie. Every guy they pony up and pay absolutely sucks the following year(s). Better off continuing to draft low and develop gems. Really wish the Saints would trade away all 1's and 2's and get like 12-13 draft choices. That way somebody pans out and there are more potential undeveloped gems to chose from. That's what build this team to begin with. Team needs so much work across the board...Bilecheik approach is the best approach. But the scouting group has to do their job. Hopeful this new guy help there. We can grab another Ingram clone pretty easy. Damn, this guy took 3 years to develop. That's not good for a RB. His shelf life is about out. And he's injury prone.

Good for Mark Ingram. His value just went up and probably his ticket out of New Orleans was just punched for good. I like Ingram and would like to see him keep playing as a Saint, but he won't get paid here. I'm definitely fine with that.
