Toured this place and looks legit. Thinking about joining. Anyone here have any experience at this place. Owner claims daily limits are the norm. TIA

Never heard of that place and it's in my back yard. Was just looking at it online, looks nice. What are membership rates?

There are about 10 lakes total.
One boat lake about 20 acres
Six bank fishing lakes
Three childrens only lakes

Bank fishing/childrens $2500yr/family

Lake/bank/ childrens $4500 yr/family

It's close by and I don't have a boat so it may work out. Videos show some big fish they catch. Talked to a few people fishing and they catch every time.

For $2500 you could buy a 12 ft jon boat and 9.9 mercury and fish any public lake you wanted.

That's insane to pay that to fish the same place over n over... I mean it's great for kids but not for adults.

He claims 25 members. My GF lives about a mile from there and every time we pass there are zero to just a couple of cars there. Definitely not crowded. He threw some fish food in random spots and the bream tore it up. Biggest bream I've ever seen.

I fished at one in Houston area as a youth when I was young.

It was a blast because you always caught aggressive bass. Lot of competition for food when they are caught/released.

I remember catching them on almost every kind of bait. Memorable one was Dad dragging frog over Lilly pads and watching a big bass go great white on that thing coming out the water.

Because we are so close I'm looking at the Convenience factor. I could run down in the afternoon and fish a couple of hours without much effort. I've had boats before and they can be a pain in the arse. Just trying to keep it simple

Sounds like you've already made up your mind, and now you are trying to justify it.

That's steep, Baw.

For $2500 a year you could take 5 guided fishing trips all over America.

Have not made up my mind. Just trying to find anyone else with experience other than the sales pitch from the owners.

I don't doubt it's loaded with fish. If it works for you go for it.

I just think you have a lot better ways of spending that 2.5k.

He was a lot of help when I bought my hybrid coppernose from him to stock my pond. Very friendly and knows his shite about fish. If you have the money to spare and enjoy fishing, I saw why not
