Wisconsin - no way with hockey. the Packers have that state locked up in their favor.

ND could have the Fighting Sioux as the top draw. I'll give you that.

Seems like for hockey, the Gophers have a better following than the Wild, but this is Vikings country thru and thru

The Lakers & Dodgers both had the same ratings in 2014(2.7). Since the in state provider showed twice as many dodgers games as Lakers games, one could argue that twice as many people watched Dodger baseball than Lakers games locally.

I thin the Lakers are the correct call for California.

Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota...any chance they could get a hockey team in?

Maybe Michigan with the Wings? He has UM football which is huge but MSU is bigger (more students) and has a pretty big footprint.

They love the Wings there

So in the lakers worst stretch I can remember and the best dodgers teams of my short life, they are only equal in ratings?

New Jersey is a lot of Yankee coverage, especially up North.
South Jersey is more Philly coverage, Eagles and Phillies

Hard to tell. Both Clemson & SC fan bases enjoy watching each others games and cheering against each other. Many times households are split.

According to the ratings websites the Neilsen Ratings do not count SEC, PAC and BIG networks. I don't think the SEC network is offered through many cable tv services in SC. So Clemson's probably on tv more on basic services.

the dodgers network still isn't available to like 70% of the tvs in the los angeles area. I can see an argument for the dodgers but I still think its the lakers. those are the only two teams the entire region truly cares about

Hell no with Indiana Basketball in Indiana….

Not with the Colts, Notre Dame Football, and the Pacers.

Notre Dame Football

Was just about to post this. Although it may not be what it was in the past, Notre Dame is still Notre Dame. The Colts may have a say in this, but Notre Dame is way ahead of IU basketball.

Also, I love the Saints, but LSU is definitely king here. There's a lot of Cowboys fans in NWLA and different nfl allegiances from person to person, but everyone here cheers for LSU.

Not in West Tennessee. The Grizzlies dominate the discussion in Memphis, along with the Tigers. The talk here is more general SEC than UT football, they honestly talk more about Ole Miss than they do UT.

I'm not sure how Nashville is, but I assume the Titan's get a ton of coverage there.

I saw a map where the Lakers are still the most popular basketball team in the country. So infuriating seeing states like Tennessee and Georgia be filled with Lakers fans despite having healthy franchises in their own state.

ND is more of a national school than an Indiana school. ND identifies more with/has more of a presence in Chicago than Indianapolis and probably Fort Wayne. Indiana is definitely either Colts or IU bball, not ND.

I think North Dakota would probably be Sioux (is that still their name?) hockey. The fan support up there for that team is crazy.

Maybe more recently. I admit I haven't lived there in years, but growing up in the South Bay, the 49ers always felt like the team.
