How to handle/potty train a puppy while at work all day?

So I'm getting a new pup March 9 and I'm concerned about not being at the house much while he's really young and needs to be let out a few times a day. My work commute is about 30/45 min a day, and will do what I can to get back for lunch everyday for at least a couple of weeks. Bringing him to work is not an option unless I just leave him in my truck. What can I do to make sure he gets the right amount of time while I'm gone M-F. What yall think?

Crating is the only answer.
Make sur eto take him out last thing and immediately upon return. He'll get the idea.
It's the only thing you can do.

If all else fails and I need to be there I can always pay some kid a little bit of money to help me out until he gets a little older. Everyone I know is busy during the day

He'll be fine. People do it all the time.
Get some wipes so you can "clean" him at lunch if he gets a little mess on him.

Cool thanks. Assuming it will only take a couple weeks until he learns my pattern. He will be 8 weeks when I pick him up.

I crate trained, but I could go home for lunch. After about 4-6 months, she could hold it for the 7-8 hours I was at work, so it wasn't necessary to go home. She now sleeps at the foot of the bed and can hold it for a long time when we sleep in on the weekends. It's only those first few months that are critical. You don't have anyone who could stop in at lunch? I know my cousin had a dog walker for a little while for that reason. Just some young kid in the neighborhood who would let his dog out while he was at work.

I was also setting my alarm clock at about 2am every morning to get up and let him go potty. Those were some lonely cold mornings waiting on that damn dog to urinate.

That's great that your at least thinking about your dog, bourg
A lot of people just lock them up inside and don't give them two thoughts.
