Cannot wait to compare the reaction that Russell Wilson and Andrew Luck get for their respective deals.

If anything I am more impressed with Wilson after yesterday. Most people would have wilted after having one of those "Murphy's Law" type games, but he kept playing hard and ended up winning it for them.

I don't know about it being a "Murphy's Law" game. I mean, he had just about as many INTs as completions into the 3rd Quarter. I think that has to be evaluated a bit harsher than "one of those games."

Russell Wilson is not a good qb.

I think that is the OP's point.

You could plug in any of the Top 15 starting QB's in the NFL (he isnt one of them) and they'd do just as good or better.

Saying he's a "good qb" because he is 6-1 in the playoffs is like saying Dan Marino sucked because he never won a Super Bowl.

His performance yesterday was the single-worst playoff performance I have ever seen by a quarterback.

So prior to yesterday he was 5-1
97/152 63.8%
1364 yards
8.97 Yards per attempt
227 yards per game
9 touchdowns
1 interception

that is what I want out of my quarterback

Statements like this are just dumb.

Say what you will about Russel as a QB but all that team does with him as there leader is WIN. I would be very careful about throwing him to the curb and inserting in x qb and expecting success.

Prior to yesterday he had the NFL postseason record for QB rating. He has the worst 57 minutes of his playing career and still manages to clutch up and put together 3 TD drives in a row to win it.

Pretty amazing for a 3rd round QB who is only in his 3rd season

Random interesting fact...
His 1 postseason interception prior to yesterday was thrown to Julio Jones.

And he got bailed out by the opponents conservatism, lucky bounce on a onside kick, a great Defense, a great running game and Clinton Dix being a fricktard. But they won so RUSSELL WILSON IS THE GOAT@!!!1!

No reasonable individual is going to make the argument that Wilson is one of the top QBs (Brady, Manning, Rodgers, Brees, Luck).

Just because he is not one of the top QBs doesn't mean he isn't a very good QB (which he is); he is an efficient passer, very good runner, and a very good decision maker. Sure he has the benefit of having a great team around him; however, he still makes plays and his receivers are probably the weakest part of that team.

The guy is efficient and he wins. I don't like the Seahawks at all, but the guy gets the job done
