Is anyone going to watch this? I'm intrigued.

or is it basically going to be like Dr House character solves crime instead of diagnosing people?

always nice to see Sarah Chalke and Dennis Haysbert gettin work though.

The previews don't impress me at all.
But I like Rainn Wilson.

I'll wait and see how people react.

Pretty sure this is exactly what it is. May not be a ground breaking series, but it will be good work for Rainn Wilson for a few years. Kudos to him. Glad to see he wasn't type cast after The Office.

Do you like Sherlock Holmes, but he's just not edgy enough for you? Do you like House, but you want to see him get out of the office more? Do you like shows trying to capitalize on the success of Elementary? Then this show's for you!

And yeah, good to see Sarah Chalke, Haysbert, and Wilson all gettin work.

looks like it could be a decent enough show, if you are in to that kinda thing.

The formula has been done before 1000 times. If you like the ole "Guy who is really good at his job but he plays by his own rules and is a huge dick to everyone" show, my guess is you will like Backstrom.

I don't really have anything against those shows. I can watch an episode or two now and again, it has just been done so many times.

This is a remake of a Swedish book series. Racist and sexist humor plays a large part in the original so I'm guessing they're gonna tone that way down. Looks like Detective House now.

I set my DVR for it back when they started the ads for it a few weeks ago. Is it starting soon?

The whole "I'm a ______" routine got old quick. They'll have to tone that down a lot for me to stay watching.

Not a bad procedural though, as far as procedurals go.

I didn't see Chalke. Is she suppose to be a regular at some point?

Wilson hammed it up a bit but wasn't horrible.

I watched it... Wasn't very good, but at the same time wasn't terrible. I'm probably going to give it a few episodes before I decide one way or the other.

The first episode was painfully embarrassing.

I watched the second episode and it was better, so there is potential here.

Ironically, Rainn Wilson is the worst part so far. He is SO cliche and ridiculous. But if he can tone the shtick down a bit and develop some depth, there is hope.
